Kinda sad, ain't it? Seeing reality? And then we Indians hope that our country would become a superpower in the coming years...like yeah! Before that ...we have to have domestic cohesion ...political stabilty and moreover responsible citizens...just the magnitude of our size isn't enough for India to be called a superpower or whatever!

@mehak,
Thanks! I was wondering what could we just do to stop this... But then u know, all this is huge, not just one or two occurences...
Seems quite realistically impossible!

@anonymous,
Sad! Very!! You're very right! We cannot turn into a so called superpower unless we face all such issues...

@prerakparikh,
Hahaha! So what do you want the 'government' to do??

Ths is v.true...

U knw... everyday v travel by train nd ther r many kids of ths age selling nailpaints, fruits, choclates nd all in the train... but our group has decided tht v shld encourage them to attend schools nd if they need ny kind of help they can directly come to us.. v wld definitely do our best for them...

so whenever such kids come ... the first question we ask... school jaataa hai naa... nd check tht whether they hav books, clothes, etc..

nd sometimes they tell us some stories, math calculation, they learnt which really makes us feel happy ... :)

@urvi,
Even i used to commute to my college, and i've come across hundreds of those kids who would sing in the trains or sell those goods you're talkin about...
It used to make my heart cry whenever i looked in their eyes. But seriously, can we even figure out who's at fault? Is it us, at the end?
